IEC 60335-2-2- Clause 21.101 Current-Carrying Hoses Crushing Resistance Test Apparatus
Test Procudures (Extracted from IEC 60035-2-2:2019 clause 21.101):
The hose is placed between two aprallel steel plates each having a length of 100mm, a width of 50mm and the edges of the longer sides rounded with a radius of 1mm. The axis of the hose is positioned at right angles to the longer sides of the plates. The plates are placed at a distance of approximately 350mm from one end of the hose.
The steel plates are pressed together at a rate of 50mm/min± 5mm/mim until the applied force is 1.5kN. The force is them re;leased and the electric strength test is carried out between the conductors connected together and the saline solution.
